Are you doing international development or social impact work? Are you passionate about the challenges and opportunities of these professions? Join the International Development Young Professionals NZ and Social Value Aotearoa for a night of networking and learning about sketchnoting / visual note-taking.

We’ll start with some time where you will get to network with professionals working the in international development and social impact sectors. Following the networking portion, we'll hear from Sylvia Duckworth, internationally renowned sketchnoter, who can turn even the most reluctant artist into a budding sketchnoter. 

Sketchnoting, or visual note-taking, is gaining widespread popularity as an effective and engaging way to take notes and to facilitate understanding and learning.

Sylvia is an award-winning teacher from Toronto, Canada, with 32 years classroom experience. She is a Google Certified Innovator and TrainerApple Distinguished Educator, and author of the books “Sketchnotes for Educators” and “How to Sketchnote: A Step-by-Step Manual for Teachers and Students”.
